Mortal kombat armageddon12/22/2023 With help from his allies, they manage to escape and make their way back to Earthrealm. In the lab, Kenshi is blinded when protecting Johnny from Mileena, who also has Tarkat disease, before he and the other three are arrested. After losing to Johnny in a fight, the two are recruited by Fire God Liu Kang as Earthrealm's defenders for the Mortal Kombat tournament alongside Raiden and Kung Lao. Kenshi vows to free his family from the Yakuza's grasp by retrieving the clan's legendary sword, Sento, from Johnny Cage. In the new era, the Taira clan were decimated in battle five centuries earlier and changed their name to Takahashi before joining the Bakuto, a predecessor for the Yakuza, for protection. After revealing the truth of Suchin's demise to Takeda, Takeda was hesitant to return with his father, but decided to trust him in finding and defeating those who murdered Takeda's mother while enhancing Takeda's psychokinetic powers even further. In Mortal Kombat X, set 25 years after the events of Mortal Kombat (2011), Kenshi had fathered a son named Takeda with a woman named Suchin and after she was murdered by Red Dragon assassins that were targeting Kenshi, he had a restored Hanzo Hasashi watch over and care for Takeda for most of Takeda's life, training him in the ways of the Shirai Ryu. Kenshi was included in the 2011 Mortal Kombat reboot as a downloadable character, appeared in the 2013 second season of the Mortal Kombat: Legacy web series, and was featured as a playable kombatant in the 2015 game Mortal Kombat X. Since debuting in 2002's Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance, he has persistently featured in the series storyline by freeing Ermac from Outworld emperor Shao Kahn's control, joining the Special Forces alongside Jax and Sonya Blade, and seeking to bring down Mavado and his Red Dragon faction, in addition to associating with the likes of Sub-Zero and Johnny Cage. The fate of Earthrealm depends on me.Kenshi is a rogue swordsman of Eurasian heritage who possesses psychokinetic powers and nurses a bitter hatred for the evil sorcerer named Shang Tsung, whose deceit had resulted in Kenshi's living. I'll need their help if I'm going to defeat Shinnok's forces. I seem to have discovered the next great threat to Earthrealm. I pummeled him, and he never regained his composure. I jumped out of the way and followed with a Shadow Kick to the chest. He was startled and immediately conjured up a skeleton hand to trap me. When he dismissed the sorcerer, I approached Shinnok. Was I surprised to see that the "minion" in the portal was Quan Chi! Shinnok ordered him to gather the Forces of Darkness and retake Shao Kahn's fortress in Outworld. When he finally showed up, I watched him for a while, to try to get some idea as to what he was planning. It seemed fitting that I would confront Shinnok there. That place has played a big part in the fight between good and evil. In my last vision, I clearly heard Shinnok say the next place he was going to contact his minion from was Shang Tsung's island fortress. I followed him, finding each place I saw in my visions, and always there was evidence that he had in fact been there. In my visions I could see Shinnok in different locations, conjuring these communication portals to give orders, which I couldn't quite understand, to his minions. I started having visions of someone we had defeated years ago: I saw the Fallen Elder God Shinnok plotting something and I decided to find out what. I used to think, "What if there's a new threat? Who's gonna lead us?" With Raiden gone, how would we even tell when something bad is about to happen? But I can't help but feel uneasy about the future. Maybe it's because there hasn't been a real threat since we took care of the Dragon King, I don't know. We're just not the fighting force we once were. Though his spirit is still around to help us, eventually he'll pass on into the Heavens. He's become darker, using more ruthless ways to keep the "peace." And Liu Kang was killed. The rest of us played supporting roles, clearing the way so he could take on the main threat.īut times have changed. In those early days Liu Kang was the point man, he was the star. I was one of his allies and fought with him against the Forces of Darkness. Somehow he could always discover the truth behind the deception. It used to be, when there was a threat to Earthrealm, that Raiden would rally the Forces of Light to face the enemy in Mortal Kombat.
